Writing have been a part of my life since I was a kid in grade school, although before I really started writing I was a fanatic book reader, hooked on romance novels and Nancy Halequims great stories of love in the 70's. In 1983 "The Love I Thought I Found" was born, yes my first poem about broken love.  A love that was forbidden in the first place but the nectar too sweet to break free from.  Addicted I couldn't stop myself from wanting him, needing him, longing to be in his presence.  There was only one problem, "he was married!"  Too young to know better at seventeen and too foolish to leave him alone I was in love with a married man.  That's how it all started, pain brought the first poem to pass, from there over 3,000 poems written!  Not including songs, plays, short stories and twenty-two christian booklets.

Through the course of my life and pain staking situations I have found poetry to be a release for me.  An outlet for reprieve.  If I can write it, then I can release it from me, not holding it in.  I found it easier to forgive too, something I didn't know when I was young. 

Some are probably wondering why you are calling yourself the world's greatest poet.  First I must say I didn't call myself that until I heard some else call me that.  The voice said to me..."you are the best amongst your peers!  I'm a poet and I believe by faith I am the best in my genre of poetry and inspiration.  So it was said so let it be!
